So, a friend of mine went to a coupon workshop to learn how to use the weekly Sunday paper coupons, along with the weekly grocery advertisements to save a ton of money on her groceries. She passed a little info on to me, and I've spent a little time researching it, and thanks to a few wonderful ladies that spend their time and talent listing the local sales and where we can find coupons to go with the sales, I've saved quite a bit of money over the last two weeks. I want to keep a record of my savings, so I thought I'd start this blog.
August 16, 2010 - Publix $180.34 value - $99.92 spent = 45% savings
(not bad for my first time out)
August 23, 2010 - Publix $271.52 value - $129.05 spent = 53% savings and Winn Dixie $370.47 value - $177.54 spent = 52% savings plus I earned a 20% Payless coupon, $5.00 on next shopping trip to Winn Dixie, $1.00 off hot dogs and $1.00 off ice cream to use next time!
